Enlisted in the Active Army in Oct 1986. Primary duties were Power Generation Equipment Repair, and Light Wheeled Vehicle Repair. Worked as a mechanic during Desert Shield/Storm/Provide Comfort. Left active duty in March of 1993.

Enlisted in Idaho Army National Guard in May of 1993, became AGR (Active-Guard-Reserve) in July of the same year Performed many dual hatted roles while in. Communications, Supply, Training NCO, Operations NCO, Transportation NCO, mechanic, etc. 

 

As Brigade Transportation Coordinator was responsible for the deploying of hundreds of soldiers, containers, and vehicles by Air, Rail, Sea, and Truck across the Nation to deployment sites, across the water to Kuwait, and up to Northern Iraq. And returned them. Very little appreciation, but a lot of pride that the soldiers and equipment made it safely.

Retired from the Idaho Army National Guard in July of 2007.

 

With assistance from wife Jeen, Opened Britts and Beemers BIkewerks in July of 2006. Specializing in Norton, Triumph, BSA and BMW Motorcycles. Expanded throughout the years absorbing BMW dealerships that were closing. Now own one the largest collection of vintage BMW parts worldwide.

 

Created a solution for vintage BMW Motorcycle wiring harnesses by manufacturing a no longer available component, to harnesses. We now are the largest supplier in the world of these harnesses.
